Nitto

Nitto manufactures some of the highest quality bicycle components that you will ever see.  Yet, you don’t see Nitto parts very often in the United States.  Outside of Technomic stems and some basic handlebars, bicycle industry distributors don’t stock their products.  That means any shop that wishes to offer them must import them directly.  This is expensive and time-consuming.  Only shops that are very committed will go through the trouble.

Check out the Tullio's blog for more info about our new Nitto items!

Nitto Pearl Stem - $65
This is perhaps the most beautiful quill stem on the market today.  It is cold-forged and strong.  The quill is longer than most, but not as long as a Technomic.

A note on sizing:  Nitto’s method of measuring the length of the stem extension is a bit different than most.  Compared to other brands’ sizing, their stems are about 0.7 cm longer than the listed size.  A Nitto 8 cm stem will be approximately 8.7 cm long using the more conventional measurement.

Quill Diameter: 22.2 mm for a threaded 1" steerer
Clamp Diameter: 26.0 mm
Extension Angle: 71-degrees
Available Sizes: 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 cm
Weight: 311g (9 cm size)

New Nitto UI-2 Stem - $55
"UI-2" stands for Ultimate Ideal 2. It's a TIG-welded cromoly stem with a removable 2-bolt faceplate.

A note on sizing: because this stem has a 90-degree extension, it is measured the same as other stems (as opposed to the Pearl above).

Nitto Crystal Fellow Seatpost - $55
This is the one that everybody else copies but none are as nice.  Cold-forging makes these strong and beautiful.  One bolt clamp.  27.2 mm diameter.  210 mm length.  231g.
